Westside Wellness Overview
Westside’s Wellness staff offers specialty mental health and counseling services to children and families. Select clinics are staffed by licensed therapists that offer individual and family therapy services to children.
The Westside Wellness program works alongside our other therapy disciplines – Behavioral, Occupational, Speech, Physical, and Feeding Therapy. This collaboration in providing comprehensive support to families and kids is what makes our model effective.
All services happen in at the same location. Therapists from different backgrounds work together on shared cases. Both families and kids receive the support that they need. All of this happens with the special touch of the Westside Way magic.
Our therapists have knowledge of infant, child and adolescent mental health. They are trained using evidence-based practices that lead to optimal clinical outcomes. They also treat families and kids like people – respecting their preferences and comfort levels, building rapport before asking too much of them, and taking the time to get to know them as people, not patients.

What Getting Started Looks Like
The experience begins with a consultation between the parents of the child and the therapist. The goal is simple: to listen and understand the parent’s needs. This informs the therapists on whether or not therapy will be effective. If it is agreed that therapy would be beneficial, this meeting becomes the starting point for developing an individualized treatment plan.
