Our Shorewood center is home to some of our most experienced therapists. It offers two large gyms spaces and plenty of quiet private rooms. We have designed this facility to accommodate children of all abilities.
The clinic opened in 2020 to help reduce travel times for so many families that were making the drive to our Joliet center. The Shorewood center is near the south east corner of Route 59 and Black Road in the same plaza as Maciano’s Pizza and across the street from Home Depot.
The Shorewood ABA team is fun! The lead BCBA is one of our most tenured employees of Westside, and she is also a resident of Shorewood.
You’ll find the ABA side of the center colorful, clean, bright, and safe. Children have different areas for active play and sensory exploration. The center is designed to accommodate and support our pre-school aged, kindergarten aged, and school-aged therapeutic services.
IGNITE is a preschool-like program for children ages 2-6 looking to gain skills to make them successful in a typical school environment. RISE is offered in conjunction with IGNITE, but is for more advanced learners. FOCUS is an after-school program for those looking to further sharpen their social and community skills.
Your child will find a space they can be comfortable and socialize with other children.

Children can often be seen playing in the foam pit, swinging on the zip line, or working really hard in a private treatment space.
With a dedicated feeding therapy room, and multiple private offices, this space has everything for therapists to be successful with your child. Therapists at this center connect with kids through play to make meaningful progress.
Our commitment to the Village of Shorewood and supporting the kids and families here has been a focus of Westside’s for decades now.
