How Does a Physician Refer a Patient to Westside Children’s Therapy?

What Information Is Needed

To help your patient get started as quickly as possible, please have the following details ready when you submit a referral:

Patient’s full name and date of birth
Parent or guardian name and contact information
Diagnosis, suspected diagnosis, or area of developmental concern
Insurance information
Any relevant clinical notes, screenings, or evaluation results

We Contact the Family

Once we receive your referral, our intake team contacts the family within one business day, often the same day, to gather any remaining details, explain next steps, and answer questions.

Insurance Is Verified

We verify insurance benefits directly with the family's provider, so nothing is left to guesswork. If coverage isn't available, we provide resources and guidance so the family is never left without options.

Appointment Scheduled

We schedule the initial appointment as quickly as possible, with immediate access available for both ABA and pediatric therapy services across our clinics.
