Westside has 2 clinic locations in Plainfield: (1) North and (2) Downtown.
The Plainfield North clinic opened its doors at the end of 2018. It is located right behind the Dunkin’ Donuts at the intersection of 119th and Route 59.
At the end of 2021, the clinic moved a couple doors down to a much larger space to better serve families and give our therapists more room to provide engaging sessions.
All pediatric and ABA therapies are offered in this location. This provides schedule flexibility where children who need multiple therapies, can get them all under one roof. All of the offerings can be viewed at the bottom of the page.
Cross-discipline collaboration between therapists also ensures that each child gets the best care possible. Westside therapists are always communicating with one another to create therapy plans than are fun, engaging and provide life-changing results.
The Clinic Supervisor at this clinic location has been with Westside for years and is known for his thoughtfulness, kind spirit, and flannel shirts. Around Halloween, you will be asked to take part in this office’s “Name-the-scarecrow” competition.
The Plainfield Downtown location opened in 2020 as a response to the overwhelming demand for services at the Plainfield North location. The center is located on Lockport Street just west of Route 30. The center specializes in working with kids with autism and other sensory conditions.
ABA Therapy is offered in both locations. The ABA spaces in each center contain large gyms, table top work stations, circle time areas, multiple private treatment rooms, and sensory equipment such as swings and trampolines.
IGNITE is a preschool-like program for children ages 2-6 looking to gain skills to make them successful in a typical school environment. RISE is offered in conjunction with IGNITE, but is for more advanced learners. FOCUS is an after-school program for those looking to further sharpen their social and community skills.

Many of the clinic therapists are long-time Westside employees that moved to Plainfield from the Joliet clinic to help the Plainfield centers get started. A few years later, through their clinical reputation, Westside’s pediatric therapy in Plainfield has expanded to support hundreds of families.
